Verbal harmony of the verses is one of the fields of Qur’anic studies which plays a significant role in understanding the Qur’an. This discourse has been propounded by various titles since long time ago and has been open to debate by its proponents and opponents. Harmony can be sought for in the connection between parts of a verse, association of the verses with each other, and the conjunction among the chapters (sūras). The harmony in the verses of Sūra al-Jum‘a is a clear example of the aforementioned discourse, which is taken into consideration in this research paper.
