Abstract

Blasphemy of religion is one of the topics that are found in many issues of the basis and evidence of contemporary fatwas, so that the sanctity of religion can be mentioned as a rule of jurisprudence. However, the lack of explanation of the exact meaning of blasphemy and its conceptual distinction with similar terms, as well as the lack of typology of blasphemy from the point of view of the Shari'i ruling, have caused the reference to blasphemy in most fatwas to be ambiguous. The present essay, by using the descriptive analytical method, aims to present the exact meaning of religion and to classify it in the field of ruling. The result of the research is that vehn finds its exact meaning and its presence as a creator of primary and secondary and governmental rulings as well as its effect in proving mandatory and possibly conditional rulings is revealed.
