The journal of Fiqh and ʾUṣūl is primarily dedicated to publishing research articles. Submitted manuscripts are thus reviewed and accepted according to academic research criteria.

Fields and Specialties

The present quarterly is dedicated to fiqh, ʾuṣū-il fiqh, falsafi fiqh (philosophy of fiqh), and interdisciplinary fields such as fiqh and law. We publish cutting-edge research in the aforementioned fields of study. The editorial board invariably welcomes research articles from professors, researches, and experts of the field.

Aims of the Journal

The journal of Fiqh and ʾUṣūl welcomes research articles in fiqh, law, and other related fields, in hopes of fulfilling the following objectives:

 a. Expanding the scope of research and offering deeper, newer perspectives regarding the matters in question in fiqh and ʾUṣūl, in light of current developments.

b. Showcasing the unrecognized potentials of the knowledge of fiqh in response to current new phenomena.

c. Going beyond merely theoretical, cognitive, and abstract discourse in and instead opting for a more practical approach to fiqh and ʾUṣūl controversies.

d. Deepening and developing the culture of analysis and re-reading the fiqh tradition regarding discourses, theories, approaches, rules, and matters in question in the fields of fiqh and ʾUṣūl.

e. Pinpointing juridical and legal deadlocks, and offering scientific solutions for revising, complementing, and editing existing rules using the potentials and capabilities of fiqh.
