Abstract

For the obligation of prayer, even if it is not possible to perform some of its parts and conditions, or if it is not possible to do it because of doing other works, the statement “The obligation of prayer is not removed under any circumstances” is cited. Investigating the correctness of the attribution of this statement to Infallible Imams (A.S.), evaluating its content and the extent of its implications using library sources and descriptive-analytical method is the objective of this research. The findings of the research indicate that this statement was first quoted as if it were a hadith in the book Jawahar al-Kalam, although due to the absence of this statement with these words in the collections of narration, it is not considered as a hadith, but its content alignment With the Holy Quran, Sunnah, Consensus and other valid proofs, it confirms the correctness of its content. The scope of validity of the statement, except for cases such as: menstruation, dementia and involuntary unconsciousness, in which, according to all jurists, prayer is invalid, it also includes those who do not have magjor and minor purification, which most jurists have considered to be permissible to leave his prayer.
