The conduct of the Infallibles (Ma'sumin) is a reliable source in Islam, playing a pivotal role in elucidating Shia teachings. One of the effective applications of this source is in the process of deriving jurisprudential rulings. Throughout history, Shia jurists have regarded the Infallibles' conduct as a tool for understanding and extracting Sharia rulings. However, the extent and scope of jurists' utilization of this source remains a subject of inquiry. This research aims to clarify the degree of Shia jurists' use of this source through a review study and by analyzing the frequency of the term "conduct" (sira) in jurisprudential texts. To this end, using the Comprehensive Ahl al-Bayt Jurisprudence Software and searching for the keyword "conduct" in the section on deductive jurisprudential books, 487 titles of jurisprudential works from the fifth to fifteenth centuries AH were examined. The findings of this research indicate that the utilization of the Infallibles' conduct among Shia jurists has had two distinct periods: in the first period, from the fifth to the twelfth centuries AH, the use of conduct was very limited and minimal; however, from the thirteenth to the fifteenth centuries AH, we observe a significant increase and extensive utilization of this source.
